Diwali 2023: With Diwali just around the corner, festival excitement has already taken over the country. From well-lit buildings, renovated houses, and office celebrations to festive shopping, and more, Diwali vibes are all that one can feel in the air all across the country. The scene is almost the same on social media as well, where people cannot get enough of Diwali memes and greetings, but amid all this, one more trend is picking up like an uncontrollable wildfire among the Indian netizens- Soan Papdi. Yes, the famous ‘mithai’, that has earned multiple titles like the ‘national sweet that no one wants’ to ‘Diwali delicacy’, is trending on the internet. Over the years, Soan Papdi has become the most passed-around sweet in the nation and the country is done with it, as per the social media memes that people are sharing to no limit. Hence, the Soan Papdi memes are now trending on the internet. 

Taking to social media, people began to react and shared hilarious memes and jokes on everyone getting the same sweet, Soan papdi, along with the festival greetings. From asking each other to boycott the sweet to calling it a ‘sin’ to pass the package around without even opening the box to others, people gave all kinds of references related to the popularity of Soan papdi in Diwali.

“When it's Diwali already and you still haven't got any soanpapdi gift from relatives. You,” a user said. 

“I really like soan papdi will this society expect me,” added a second person.

“Corporate mazdur waiting for Diwali bonus the whole year and what he got , just a box of Soan Papdi,” added a next.
