Viral Video: Most of the private sectors in India might rely on English as their official language, but believe it or not, speaking fluently in English is something that only half of the employed Indian population can do. People do know the basics, but fluency is still something that many are not good at. With that in mind, an elderly auto driver went viral on social media, after his video of speaking fluent English was shared on the internet. The man was in conversation with one of his passengers, who was also recording him at the same time.

The video, soon after being shared, began to do rounds on social media. Most people lauded the elderly’s fluency in the English language, while the rest compared him and his speaking style with Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, the former President of India.

The video was shared on social media platform Instagram, by the handle ‘Kon_bhushan1222’. The post was captioned, “Even I was stunned and stuttered a bit while speaking to him to my surprise seeing his fluency in English.” The video was shared a while back and pulled 236K likes from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “He sounds like Dr Apj Abdul Kalam Sir,” a user said. “Old man Respect button,” commented a second person. “Uncle’s English is better than mine... Thank you for motivating us,” added a third person. “Bharat is not for beginners,” joined a fourth person.
