Delhi Metro Viral Video: Delhi Metro passengers were left stunned when an elderly man was caught urinating inside a moving coach and the video has now gone viral online. The video has once again highlighted issues of public hygiene and lack of civic sense in India’s crowded spaces. The video, shared on X by @tanmoyofc, shows the man squatting at the junction between two coaches while fellow commuters watch in disbelief. Adding a surprising twist, the video features a funny audio mentioning Bollywood rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh.
In just a short time, the video received significant views. Many netizens criticised the man for his unjustified behaviour in public spaces, while some defended him, suggesting he may have a medical condition.

The post, which was shared two days ago, pulled 192k views from social media users. "He was confirmed to be diabetic and could not control himself. A little empathy always helps," a user wrote. "He might or might not have a kidney issue, which can create an extreme urge. In my personal experience, I have seen people from rural backgrounds behaving better in urban public spaces than shehris," a second user wrote.
"Before judging, remember there might be medical issues too — otherwise, who really likes to urinate in public?" a third user wrote in support. "India has become a laughing stock in the world," added a fourth user. "They think that's the birthright of their, cleanliness and basic civic sense are an eternal enemy of them," a fifth user added. "These kinds of people are so dangerous for society for real," another user added.
This shocking incident comes just a month after another video emerged, showing a man allowing his young son to urinate near the platform edge at Inderlok Metro Station. With repeated cases like these, the debate over public behaviour, hygiene and the need for awareness on civic sense in India’s public transport has intensified.
