Rolls-Royce Ghost Viral Video: Durga Puja preparations in Kolkata have taken a backseat as the city battles one of its worst spells of rain in decades. Amid the chaos of waterlogged streets and flooded homes, a video of a stuck luxury car has caught everyone’s eye on Instagram. The viral video shows a blue and silver Rolls-Royce Ghost stuck motionless in the middle of a flooded road while bikes and cars carefully move past it. On top of the expensive vehicle, tree branches are seen resting, making the sight even more unusual.

The video was shared with a caption that read, “When natural calamity makes you realise the age-old advice from our grandparents ‘Ja ache tai niyekhushithako’ (Be happy with what you have). Hoping everyone is safe out there.”

The original video shared on Instagram by the username 'Debarghya Dey' a few hours ago garnered 654k views from social media users. Netizens, without taking much time, reacted to the viral video in the comment section. While many share jokes about the luxury car, others question the benefit of paying huge taxes.

"That is what is called a sinking fund," a user wrote. "One of the best safety features of Rolls-Royce… It cuts the full potential power supply from the battery so that the sensors don’t get damaged due to water exposure," a second user wrote. "And still some people question why people are leaving India! So sad," wrote a third user.

"To everyone, this is everyone's fault. This flood came and flooded Kolkata. Kolkata has a good drainage system overall. The city has not seen floods for a good amount of time since September. Then why is it our fault? Cause we're all contributing to global warming. The amount of water evaporated is tremendous. Hence, cloud bursts and low-pressure cyclonic storms have become common. And now there is no stop, cause most of the population all over the world doesn't believe in global warming, including the world leaders. All are busy in war mongering. If nature starts a war, we puny humans won't be able to do anything," a fourth user wrote.
