Picture this: months of planning, tickets booked, dreams of a stress-free holiday finally about to come true. That’s exactly what an employee named Varun was waiting for, until a sudden twist turned his joy into frustration. Just a week before his trip, Varun’s manager allegedly dropped a bomb: his leaves were cancelled, even though everything was already booked. An audio capturing their conversation quickly went viral, not just because of the shocking news, but because of Varun’s bold reply. Instead of giving in, he coolly told his boss, “Just FYI, I will fall sick next week. Just giving you a heads up.”
His unapologetic response won hearts online, with many cheering him for standing his ground. Some people related to his struggle, while others called his reaction savage and praised his confidence. A few even suggested that he should quit the job once his trip is done.

"Managers like these are rewarded by organizations, promoted, clapped at, and employees who suffer in silence are provided breadcrumbs to continue doing what they are doing... and those who raise their voices are immediately labelled 'disrespectful', 'difficult', and whatnot and are obviously deliberately made to quit. This is the harshest, most real reality of the Corporate world," a user wrote.
"This is so me, I ask for a leave and ask if there is any update to my TL. He said no update yet, and I said Approved or not, I am not coming that day," a second user wrote. "At least the guy got guts to say on the face," added a third user. "This is so me.
