Viral Video: Visiting a new city or country is one of the most exciting things, especially if the trip is a first for that particular place. Comparing it with one’s hometown, experiencing new people and cultural differences, developing a taste for a different type of food altogether and whatnot, the list of things to do in a new city never gets boring. This influencer from Mumbai, Aryana Dalal, probably experienced something similar when she took a trip to Delhi for the first time. Out of excitement that was quite evident, Dalal then shared a review of the national capital, where she mostly compared it with Mumbai. The video was quick to go viral, only for reasons she probably did not hope for; being highly unrelatable to most Delhiites on the internet.
From saying that everyone in Delhi lived in houses and not apartments to calling people ‘sweet and rich’, netizens were in disagreement over the influencer’s review points more than once. The girl later added that her review was mostly about South Delhi, which too did not sit well with people as many suggested that the review was ‘narrow’ as it talked only about one part of Delhi.
The video has been floating on the internet ever since it was shared on social media. Most people found the review bizarre and unrelatable, while the rest mocked her over her ‘poor observation’. A few also expressed ‘annoyance’ over her calling herself a ‘Bombay’ girl and pulled jokes on the same.
The video was shared on Instagram, by the handle Aryana Dalal. The post was captioned, “South Delhi just like south Bombay but more??”

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “You forgot to add a paid collab tag with the state of Delhi,” a user said. “such a narrow review, this isn’t a Delhi vs Mumbai review, this is a rich class view of Andheri vs Hauz khas,” added a second person. “What's your age ?? Because Bombay was before 1995,” added a third person.
“You know it's scripted when she said Delhi people are sweet and cute,” added a fourth user. “She's a Delhiite pretending to be Mumbaikar,” commented a fifth person. “Who told you nobody lives in an apartment,” added a sixth person. “Is this what a sheltered child sounds like?” added a seventh person.
