For those unaware- no- it's not Pokimon, it's Pokimane- and she is a popular Twitch streamer, who is known for her video game content. Coming back to the ‘USD 500,000’, a fan bid the said amount in an auction, where the highest bidder will get a chance to play with Imane Anys, aka Pokimane. The auction was organised by another popular streamer, CDawgVA.

Connor Marc Colquhoun, more known by the name CDawgVA, is back to hosting another fundraiser, where the money is being collected for an Immune Deficiency Foundation. For the same, CDawgVA’s prize for the higher bidder was surely unique- a game with Pokimane- which was a hit as cash was quick to roll in, to the point that a bidder bid USD 500K. A post highlighting the same was shared on social media, which went viral for obvious reasons.

The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘FearedBuck’. The post was captioned, “Someone just bid $500,000 to play video games with Pokimane.”

The post was shared today and pulled more than 16M views from people. Most people were shocked over the amount a person was ready to bid just to play a game with someone, while the rest criticised the bid.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Bro paid 500,000$ and will probably only have an hour of time,” a user said. “I actually can’t imagine being this level of down bad. People out here can’t afford food or a house and someone puts up this kind of money to not even chill with them IRL,” added another.
