Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale 2024: October might be popular for its pleasant weather and ‘fall’ vibes for the rest of the world, but for India, the month is all about countless festivals that hit the month one after the other. From Navratri to Diwali and whatnot, you name it, and October has it all. Basically, the month is all about food, events, aarti, home cleaning and more. And among the mentioned list, one thing that excites people the most is shopping. With that in mind, it makes sense that all the major online shopping apps have already started their sale, as people have also started preparing for the coming festivals. Doing the same, India's one of the biggest online platforms, Flipkart, started its much-awaited sale- Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale 2024. However, just a few days in and the app already found itself on the deck over some questionable ‘controversy’.

Taking to social media, furious netizens shared screenshots of their placed orders being cancelled without their knowledge. Yes, people on the internet were quick to call the app and the sale a ‘scam’, as they demanded answers over the sudden cancellation. For those unaware, the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale for the year 2024 reportedly started on September 27, whereas an early access was given to its Plus members on September 26.

However, as more and more people came forward with similar ‘order cancelled’ complaints, the hashtag ‘Flipkart Scam’ soon began to trend. From bashing the app to ‘calling it out’ for ‘fooling’ its customers, people hardly left any stone unturned. A few also went ahead and shared memes on the situation. Take a look at the reactions…

“You are complete scammer. Flipkart promoting take offers to attract customers and then cancelling order without customers consent and causing mental distress. UNFAIR & BIG DISAPPOINTED,” a user said.

“Flipkart's big scam has come to light, they are fooling their customers in the name of offers and cancelling orders! The question arises that then why was the offer given when the order was to be cancelled??” added a second person.

“Thank you @amazonIN for your great services without charging the platform fee and then cancelling our order like @Flipkart . Ordered the same product from you! Again I made the mistake of ordering from flipkart!” added a third person.

“My order automatically cancelled by Flipkart @Flipkart @flipkartsupport. Flipkart renamed to be scamkart,” added a fourth person.

“#flipkartscam Has Flipkart really done a scam?” added another.
