For a country like India which is known as the land of Gods and temples, the practice of people preaching and worshipping each and everything related to their Gods with the purest of intentions is not rare. Keeping that in mind, people wanting to treat the belongings of their spiritual leaders in a similar manner is not exactly a surprise. Displaying something similar, a social media post recently surfaced online and went viral in an instant. The post showed a product that was being sold at the Isha Life, for a staggering cost of Rs 3,200. Now, selling something for that price is not exactly something rare, but what grabbed people’s attention was the product itself; a framed picture of spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev’s feet.

For those unaware, Sadhguru is a 67-year-old globally renowned spiritual leader, who is also the founder of the non-profit organisation Isha Foundation. As soon as the social media post was shared, people began to share their take. Most people found the post funny and pulled a few jokes, while the rest justified the frame and its cost.

The post was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘AbhishekSay’. The post was captioned, “Sadhguru selling feet pics. Only for Fans @ ₹3200.” The post was shared yesterday and pulled 980K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “I read it as Only Fans. My bad,” a user said. “I was curious and I visited the site where it is listed, to my surprise there are buyer reviews as well,” added a second person. “Full-fledged business in the guise of spirituality. You name the product and it’s there,” added a third person.

“What can we say about those who are anyways buying it? The list of such products by other people as well, is never ending,” wrote a fourth person. “@SadhguruJV has made millions of responsible Hindus who practice Sadhna every day. Otherwise, most of them would have become leftists or converts,” added another.
