Viral video: Not all heroes wear capes and this Florida man is one of them. A man from the US’ Florida turned into a hero for his puppy in the most savage way possible. A video of the same was shared online, which went viral on the internet and left people impressed. The video showed the man rescuing his puppy from an alligator’s jaw, while also smoking a cigar throughout the act, like a boss. Bringing the reptile back to the surface from a pond, the man went on to wrestle with it as he tried to open its jaw using his bare hands. At the end of the said clip, the pup was safely rescued as it dropped from the alligator’s grip.
The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘CCTV IDIOTS’. The post was captioned, “Man saves his puppy from being eaten by an Alligator.”

The video is heavily doing rounds on the internet, ever since it was shared. Most people lauded the man’s courage and quick thinking, while the rest dubbed him an ‘absolute legend’ for saving his puppy and not dropping his cigar in the process. The video was shared yesterday and pulled 4.5M views from people.
Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “All with a cigar in his mouth. what a legend,” a user said. “Yes this happened in Florida and that is the OG Florida man,” wrote a second person. “This dog found a better owner,” said a third. “Any true dog owner would have done the same,” commented a fourth user.
“Didn’t even drop his smoke, Absolute G,” said a fifth person. “The government is searching for this guy,” commented a sixth user. “I have a newfound respect for Florida people after seeing this. Not only did he save his dog, but also did not lose his cigar while dealing with an alligator. What?” said another.
