In a dangerous stunt that went horribly wrong, French daredevil, Remi Lucidi, plunged to his death from the 68th floor of a high-rise building in Hong Kong. The ghastly accident took place at the Tregunter Tower complex that the 30-year-old daredevil was climbing at the time, as per media reports.
Lucidi was a known name among adventure enthusiasts as he was famous for extreme sports. The man was declared dead at the scene. The police found his camera at the scene with videos of his other stunts.
The ill-fated stunt lover reportedly entered the building at 6 pm on the pretext of meeting a friend who apparently lived on the 40th floor. However, after learning that the 'friend' had nothing to do with Lucidi, the security guard rushed to stop the daredevil, who by that time was already on his way to the top through the elevator.

After he reached the 49th floor through the elevator, the French daredevil was seen taking the stairs, which was captured on the CCTV footage. The hatch that led to the roof was also found open by the people who were following the uninvited man in the building.
According to the reports, the stunt lover was accidentally trapped outside a penthouse. He even tried to tap on the window of the penthouse, which in turn alerted the maid. The maid rushed to action as she soon called the police after Lucidi's window taps.
Although the official cause of death has yet not been released, the police believe the man lost his balance before the grim fall. Lucidi was last seen alive at 7:38 pm, which was when he tried to make contact with people inside the penthouse by tapping on the window.
Meanwhile, the owner and the staff of the hotel where Lucidi was staying, remembered the stunt performer and recalled their interactions with the 30-year-old daredevil, the owner lauded his "humble and friendly" nature.

Lucidi had a huge fanbase and was also popular by his online name ʀᴇᴍɪ ᴇɴɪɢᴍᴀ. Many of his followers and fans took to social media as they expressed their grief over the man's untimely demise.
