G20 Summit: Becoming a major venue for the next three days, India is welcoming some of the most powerful leaders from all around the world for the G20 Summit. The Delhi airport has been receiving some extremely influential leaders since this morning, September 08, as the summit's main events will kick off from tomorrow, September 09. Among all the guests, International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva also arrived in Delhi. She was welcomed by an airport full of traditional festivities. As soon as the IMF MD saw the folk dancers performing on traditional tunes, she also became excited. At first, the leader seemed hesitant to join, but she eventually gave in and danced a few steps as she lauded the dancers. Georgieva applauded the performers before leaving. The video of the excited G20 guest surfaced online and went viral. Taking to his social media handle, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan shared the video of the dancing guest.

India took the G20 presidency last year from Indonesia. In the past few months, the country has hosted countless G20 meetings, which were attended by delegates from all across the world. Now, the country is hosting the G20 Summit, which will be held from September 08 to September 10. The event will take place in the new Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan. The Indian Government has taken several security measures for the big event. Many world leaders, including US President Joe Biden, UK PM Rishi Sunak, and more will attend the summit.

The video was posted on the official X (formerly Twitter) handle of the Union Education Minister. The post was captioned, “Difficult to resist #Sambalpuri beats. MD International Monetary Fund Ms. @KGeorgieva arrives in India for #G20 summit to a #Sambalpuri song and dance welcome.”

At first, Georgieva tried to resist her urge to dance, but eventually, she gave in and did a few steps. The video went viral on social media as people loved her excitement. Taking to social media, people shared their views. “Absolutely wonderful  Proud moment for Odias,” a user said. “She's so cute,” added a second person. “What a beautiful video! Though she is in a great position didn't let Die Child in her kudos to her,” said a third netizen.
