Viral Video: It seems like some people in Gujarat perfectly understand the phrase ‘making lemonade out of lemons’ as they gracefully found a way to cheer themselves up despite their state being partially flooded with rainwater. If you already haven’t guessed it- yes, believe it or not, but some people were seen doing Garba in a flooded street in Gujarat. From decorations, songs and dance, the otherwise nightmarish place looked no less than a festive venue. Appreciating the same along with highlighting the love for Garba that Gujaratis have, a video of the same was shared on social media by business tycoon and Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra. It goes without saying that the clip went viral.
As the video began to do rounds on social media, most people found the clip wholesome and positive enough to uplift spirits. A few called the dance amid floods risky, while the rest agreed with the Anand Mahindra’s post. The exact date and location of the incident could not be confirmed.
The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Anand Mahindra’. The post was captioned, “Gujarat and Garba. An amazing relationship...unstoppable.”

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Gujarat and Garba definitely have a great relationship but right now the floods in Gujarat have disrupted the life of the people. People are troubled. It is a natural quality of human beings that they find a moment of happiness to entertain their mind amidst their sorrow and pain, this is what is happening here,” a user said.
“Looks nice but the danger of streptobacillus is always there in such water sirji,” added a second person. “This is how you embrace your culture despite the hurdles and challenges in life. The beauty of Indian culture and kudos to the people,” wrote a third person. “Garba and Gujarat – a bond that's vibrant and timeless! #Unstoppable,” added another.
