Xenia Princess Of Saxony Poses For Playboy: Gone are the days when posing semi-naked or naked was a controversial enough gossip for the modelling and the cinema industry. In the past few years, people have posed for celebrated magazines with or without a single thread on their bodies, and each one of those shoots has mostly made the perfectly positive headlines that an advancing and growing world should be waking up to. However, none of it is even remotely true for the ‘blue bloods’. In fact, there are a few decades and centuries-old sets of rules that Royals all across the world follow wholeheartedly, and Royal attire is surely one of the major parts of those very rules.

In a nutshell, forget about posing naked, as most of the Royals have always gone for a rather ‘covered’ public appearance- but not anymore. Becoming the first Royal to do so, Germany’s 37-year-old Xenia Florence Gabriela Sophie Iris Princess of Saxony, Duchess of Saxony, etched history with her naked photoshoot for Playboy magazine. The princess who pretty much lost her childhood among questions related to ‘number of maids serving her’ to marriage proposals from her schoolmates, now wants to bring change to the ‘Royal’ title. 

The German princess is great-great-great-granddaughter of the last King of Saxony, Friedrich August III, who lived from from 1865 to 1932. Meanwhile, she has also claimed to be ‘connected’ with the House of Wettin, a dynasty of German kings. 

Speaking about her Playboy shoot, the princess is proud that every part of her body is real. Apart from that, despite the popular ‘Royal’ beliefs, the aristocrat believes that her great-great-great-grandfather would have approved her Playboy decision. “He would have approved it,” she was quoted as saying to the Bild. “Was described to me as very humorous and loving. So he would definitely have approved of it. I feel a special connection with him,” she was further quoted as saying. 

However, the same cannot be said for her ‘claimed’ current Royal connections- the House of Wettin. “I would be surprised if you bought a copy,” she was quoted as saying, “But of course, I hope that they will at least tolerate it,” she added. 

What began as a ‘terrible’ experience for the German princess, has now turned into a ‘blessing’. Her Royal title was revealed to her classmates when she was in 7th standard. “As a child it seemed more like a curse to me…Immediately the first girls asked me if I had a maid and the boys asked if I would marry them so they could become a prince,” she was quoted as saying to the Bild. 

However, with the strings of her fate in her own hands, the tables have now turned. With a mission in mind- “I want to bring the real back to reality TV and at the same time show people who I really am,”- she has participated in many reality shows.

The aristocrat has also been engaged six times, but never took the next step. But the noblewoman is still hopeful. “All good things come in sevens, as they say, right?” she was quoted as saying. “Today I can say: Some of my fiancés would also be Friedrich August III. Got really grumpy,” she added.
