Viral Video: In another troubling incident against stray animals that came forward from Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad, a car driver was caught running over a sleeping stray dog in broad daylight. The horrible incident was captured on the CCTV camera that was installed nearby, the footage of which was shared online. The video further claimed that the act was done deliberately, as the driver was seen reversing the car and driving in the direction of the poor animal. As soon as the clip began to float online, it left the internet fumed.

The date of the incident could not be confirmed. The dog, on the other hand, was left suffering after the tragedy, as seen in the footage.

The video gained a major reaction from people, the majority of which was against the driver. Most wanted the driver behind bars as people tagged authorities in the comment box and demanded action, while the rest were speechless over the driver’s cruelty.

The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘lavelybakshi’. The post was captioned, “Look, CCTV footage surfaced in Ghaziabad which shames humanity. The car rider deliberately ran over the sleeping dog, the accused fled after running the car over the dog.”

The video was shared yesterday and pulled 29K views from netizens. Taking to the comment section, people shared their take.

“An animal driving a car ran over another anomaly. The driver will surely get what he deserves one day,” a user said. “@pfaindia @PetaIndia please help the dog with his treatment and strict action against the accused,” requested another user. “This is inhuman @dgpup @Uppolice @ghaziabadpolice Please take action against the Culprit,” read a third.

“@TheViditsharma @SharnamNoida @SAVEASTRAY2 kindly check if the dog is ok and you can provide any help to him,” wrote a fourth user. “Criminals must be punished by law,” added a fifth user.

“What a shameful thing to do to a mute animal. It is wrong. He should be caught by the number plate of the car and proper action should be taken so that no one does such an incident with such an innocent animal again @AnimalPlanet @DelhiPolice@EP_AnimalLovers,” added another.
