Gurgaon Viral Video: Another questionable animal cruelty incident made it into headlines, where a dog walker was caught repeatedly hitting a Golden Retriever inside an elevator. The incident was captured on the CCTV camera that was installed inside the said lift. The matter reportedly unfolded at Gurgaon’s Orchid Gardens in Sector 54, on May 09. As soon as the CCTV footage was shared online, it left people outraged. The pet, on the other hand, did not retaliate the entire time the man hit him with what appeared to be a litter scoop.

The CCTV footage instantly went viral as people began to demand the authority’s action against the accused. So far, people have also shared the dog walker’s picture to make the case further viral and to make other pet owners aware.

The post was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) by the handle ‘TheViditsharma’. The post was captioned, “Disturbing to see animal cruelty on the rise with little attention from mainstream media. Ignoring it only fuels aggression in our furry friends. It's time to speak up and take action. Let's protect both human and animal well-being. #StopAnimalCruelty #dogs.”

The video was shared two days ago and pulled 67K views from viewers.

The video, immediately after being shared, went viral and left internet users reacting. Most were fumed over the animal cruelty and demanded the man’s arrest by the Gurgaon Police, while the rest shared and circulated the dog walker’s picture so that no one would hire him.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “I'm not a dog lover but that seems so bad! Man,” a user said. “What the hell. Has he been arrested? Why does pl employ useless walkers? For God's sake take your own pet yourself,” added a second person. “India needs stricter punishment laws. He will be let off so cheaply,” commented a third user. “Poor kid. Every hit just breaks my heart. How cruel,” wrote a fourth user.

“Action must be taken against this person who might be doing it for some perverted sense of fun,” added a fifth comment. “@gurgaonpolice @DC_Gurugram request you to please take cognizance and action against this guy. The incident happened in a society in Gurgaon,” added another. “Feel pity for the goldie then too bearing and sitting calmly.. they are supposed to be very friendly breeds.. dunno what made that guy be so cruel to him,” wrote another.
