Viral Video: In today’s world, many people are so influenced by social media that they often fail to notice what's happening around them. People have become addicted to creating Instagram reels, shorts or TikTok videos and in the process sometimes neglect their relationships and surroundings. This seems to be the case in a recent video that’s going viral. A mother, who is making a reel by the roadside is captured unaware of her daughter walking near a busy road. The video, shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the handle @gharkekalesh, shows the woman dancing to Modern Talking's song Brother Louie, completely oblivious to the danger her daughter faces.

The video shows how the daughter is wandering towards the road, while the son quickly approaches his mother to warn her. After realizing the danger, the mother immediately stops dancing and rushes to pull her little daughter back. This incident has sparked concerns about the risks associated with social media stunts.

The viral video, shared on December 9, has already received over a million views. The caption reads, "While the mother was busy making a reel on her phone, her little girl was about to step onto the road when suddenly her son came and pointed it out." Let's take a look at the comment section to see the reactions of netizens.

"This issue goes beyond just one mother, it's a reflection of a larger societal problem. We've become so addicted to social media that it’s overtaking our lives. We’re constantly seeking validation from strangers online, often at the cost of our real-world duties. And it’s not only parents who are affected. How many times have you seen people absorbed in their phones during family meals, important occasions, or even while driving? Social media was meant to bring us closer together, but instead, it’s pulling us further away from what truly matters." a user commented. "I have already said this multiple times - women who make reels or are active on Instagram are not fit to be a wife or a mother," added a second user.

"We need a US-like department of human services in India as well, who snatches away kids from incompetent and idiot parents like her. Who puts a kid's life in danger just for a few likes on social media. Some people don't deserve kids." added a third user. "Every family or extended family has such specimens now who are addicted to reels/content creation. Not everyone deserves to be a parent," added a fourth user.
