Viral Video: Amidst the daily hustle of life, a simple yet profound moment unfolded on a quiet street. A man, balancing a sack of leaves on his head, walked hand-in-hand with his wife, their young child nestled in her arms. As they strolled past, their fingers gently parted, and they quickened their pace, hoping to slip by unnoticed.
Nearby, photographer Akash Upadhyay watched them with admiration. Their simple, unspoken bond caught his attention, and he felt an urge to capture the moment. Calling out to them, he asked if he could take their picture. The man hesitated, his response immediate and firm: "Nahi khichwaenge" (No, we won’t). But Mr. Upadhyay wasn’t ready to give up. With a reassuring smile, he gently insisted, "Nikaal ke aapko hi de denge" (I'll click it and give it to you). The man, still unsure, glanced at his wife and then at the photographer. A hint of curiosity surfaced as he asked, "Kab milege?" (When will we get it?). "Abhi," (Right now) came the quick reply, shifting hesitation into intrigue.
"You were walking so beautifully hand in hand. I just felt capturing this bond and giving it to you," Mr. Upadhyay added warmly. The woman, touched by his words, lowered her gaze, a soft blush spreading across her face.
Realising this wasn’t just an ordinary photograph but a treasured memory in the making, the man looked up at the sack balanced on his head. "Should I keep this down?" he asked. Setting it aside, he stood beside his wife, ready for the moment. Mr. Upadhyay then suggested the woman fix her hair, ensuring she looked her best for the picture.

With a few clicks, the fleeting moment was preserved forever. As promised, the photographer handed them a printed copy. The woman’s eyes sparkled as she held the photo, sharing it with their child. A smile played on her lips as she imagined it framed in their home.
Before leaving, Mr. Upadhyay gifted them another picture—one where they held hands. The man moved, and softly said, "Aapne hamare liye bahut kiya." (You did a lot for us). As they walked away, the woman turned back, her smile lingering as she whispered, "Bye."
The viral video was shared on Instagram by the photographer on his account, 'akki_bhakki.' Within just a few hours, the video garnered almost 15 million views. Social media users were touched by the couple's simplicity and admired the photographer for preserving such a genuine moment, bringing joy to their faces.
One user wrote, "The way she got shy and said bye before leaving is so adorable." Another commented, "Instagram should promote more content like this instead of those useless reels." A third user shared, "I was smiling throughout this whole video." Meanwhile, a fourth user expressed, "We can feel the pure joy—just like the innocence we experienced as children. You’ve made us relive that childhood purity of happiness. Love you and your work, brother!"
