Viral Video: In a recent incident, tarot card reader and influencer Naya Khullar accused MakeMyTrip of negligence during her family trip to Khatushyam Ji Temple in Rajasthan. She said the company’s mismanagement put her family’s safety at risk. Naya posted a video on Instagram saying the driver arranged by MMT was late, so her family booked another cab. But the original driver showed up later, got aggressive, and demanded payment despite not providing the service.
In the video, she said, “MMT failed to ensure our safety. We are at Khatushyam Baba, and this is what happens when you book through MakeMyTrip! I’m in fear for the safety of my family and my life. If anything happens to me and my family, then MakeMyTrip will be responsible."
She added, “I’m stuck at Khatushyam Baba, and he is not letting go. He has been threatening us. We booked the driver for Rs 2000 at night, but he didn’t come on time. We had a discussion, and he misbehaved. I’ve women and family traveling with me."
She also said the lack of support from MMT left them feeling unsafe. Later, a MakeMyTrip representative responded, saying, “We understand your agony, and we regret the inconvenience caused. We request you to provide the details related to your concern in DM along with your contact details and booking ID so that we can investigate the issue at the earliest." In the next video, Naya confirmed that she and her family reached home safely but later claimed MMT's customer care was unresponsive and didn’t offer timely help.

They are all fine until one day your luck is not by your side. Experienced this with all." "Worst service. Me and my family have gone through really bad experiences with them. "@makemytrip, has hands down the most pathetic experience when it comes to cab booking. I was in a new city, traveling alone and I had booked a cab through mmt for an intercity ride from Chennai Airport. Not only did they not share the cab driver details 15 mins prior to the cab arrival time( as per their policy, these details are shared in 15 mins advance ), but they made me wait 30 mins in the scorching heat, as I was already out of the airport waiting for the cab. Two cab drivers kept calling to tell me that they had received my booking, but I still had no details from MMT and I couldn’t randomly board any cab. After all this nuisance, they called me after an hour only to tell me that the vendor canceled my booking! And they will refund me some tokens in my MMT wallet, as compensation.
