For some unexplained reason, despite South Korea’s sensational boy band BTS being one of THE most celebrated talents around the world, the band’s fans in India are looked down on, all across the country. In fact, Indian social media is unfortunately filled with content displaying an uncalled-for hate towards BTS and their fandom, BTS ARMY. However, leaving all the unnecessary drama behind, the Indian BTS ARMY recently made major headlines as they effortlessly proved their ‘humanity’ above all. A donation project that was brought together by the ARMY Projects India, ended up raising more than Rs 3 lakh for Palestinians on Jhope’s birthday!

Yes, doing their bit for the betterment of humanity, the desi BTS ARMY was able to make a major financial contribution for the children and women of Palestine taking shelter in Hamas-occupied Gaza. The said fundraiser for Gaza had a goal of Rs 20,000 but ended up receiving lakhs. Taking to social media, ARMY Projects India shared its details on February 03, as per which, the donation was scheduled to last till February 29. And needless to say, the ‘Jhope Birthday Project’ turned out to be a major success.

The post was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), with the caption, “Donate for Gaza Now! This year for J-hope's Birthday Project, we're doing a fundraiser for Gaza. Donation Goal: 20,000 INR. Fundraising till 29th Feb. Donations are open only for Indian ARMYs. Donation link in bio! DM us for any doubts or queries.”

The project ended up being the ‘biggest donation’ so far, with it collecting a total of Rs 3,45,686. Taking to Instagram, the project’s details were shared, which received huge praise. Most people lauded the efforts the project intended, while the rest appreciated the contribution made by the BTS ARMY.
