Indian Couple Viral News: Love stories are usually meant to make people smile. But for one couple from Madhya Pradesh, their happiest moment suddenly turned into a harsh online debate they never asked for. After being in a relationship for 11 long years, Rishabh Rajput and Shonali Chouksey finally got married. Like most newlyweds, they shared their wedding pictures online, bright outfits, big smiles, garlands of pink and white roses, and a clear glow of happiness.
Everything about the pictures reflected joy. But instead of only love and blessings, the couple also received something ugly, colour-shaming. As their photos spread across Instagram and X, many users stopped looking at their love and started commenting on the groom’s dark skin tone. One X user, Divya (@Divyadubeyy), shared their picture and wrote, "What is the core reason behind these types of marriages?" The post crossed three million views in no time. Soon, the comment section was filled with cruel jokes and insulting lines.

While many would have chosen to ignore the noise, Rishabh decided to speak up, with honesty, strength, and grace. He shared how special this moment was for him, saying he had waited nearly 11 years to marry Shonali and could barely control his tears when he saw her dressed as a bride.
He also addressed the people questioning why Shonali chose him. In a powerful message, he wrote, "Sorry to disappoint you. I'm not a government employee but I work for my family and wish to give them a decent lifestyle. I do have a handsome income, though, but she loved me when I had nothing and she stood there having my back since my college days in my thin and thick, blues and greys... so your opinion doesn't really matter."

Rishabh didn’t hide the pain he had faced because of his skin colour. He openly accepted his truth and thanked everyone who stood by him during this ugly wave of trolling. With quiet strength, he also said, "I cannot deny the fact that I'm black and I have dealt with the racism my entire life."
