Indian Shopkeeper Viral Video: A foreign tourist’s simple act of trying to find a dustbin in India has sparked a major online debate about cleanliness and civic sense. A video shared by traveler Amina on Instagram shows her politely asking a local shopkeeper, “Where is the bin?” while holding an ice-cream wrapper in her hand. But instead of helping her, the shopkeeper asked her to just throw it on the ground.

Refusing to litter, Amina insists on finding a proper bin. After a few seconds, the shopkeeper finally takes the wrapper from her and throws it under a refrigerator inside his shop. Shocked, Amina turns to the camera and says the shopkeeper “literally throws everything down there.”

The clip, which quickly went viral, has left many Indians feeling embarrassed and upset. People flooded the comments, calling out the careless attitude toward public cleanliness and saying such behavior gives a bad impression of India to foreign visitors.
