Indian Woman In Saree Viral Video: A simple shopping trip in the US turned into a powerful moment of self-expression when an Indian-origin entrepreneur stepped into a mall wearing a saree she designed herself. The short video, shared on social media, quickly grabbed attention, not because of drama, but because of confidence and culture. Sakshi Sharma Vaidya posted the clip showing herself walking through a mall during Christmas shopping, dressed in a stunning blue saree. As shoppers paused, stared, and exchanged curious glances, the internet responded with love and admiration.
Sharing the video, she wrote, "Wore a saree to a mall for Christmas shopping. Wore it because I felt like it," and followed it up with, "Thoughts?" The video shows Sakshi browsing through stores, checking out displays, and confidently moving through the space in her elegant outfit. Later, she revealed that the saree she was wearing was her own design.
Talking about the reactions she received, Sakshi said, "Oops, I did it again! This time I wore a saree to a mall for Christmas shopping. I got some head turns, some confused looks, and lots of compliments." The video captures these moments clearly, with people around her visibly noticing her choice of attire.
She also explained that the decision had nothing to do with standing out. "I did not wear a saree to stand out. I wore it because culture is not a costume. It's a choice," she said. Sharing her belief further, she added, "Clothing is a way to express myself, and I wear what I feel like."
