Jaipur Viral Video: What started as a normal day for an elderly woman in Jaipur turned into a terrifying experience that was caught on camera. The woman was simply going about her routine, drying clothes inside her house, unaware that a chain snatcher was about to enter her home and rob her in broad daylight. The shocking incident happened in Jaipur, Rajasthan, and has now gone viral on social media after the CCTV footage surfaced. In the video, the woman can be seen arranging clothes on a drying stand near the entrance of her home. Everything seems calm until the main gate suddenly opens.
Just seconds later, a man wearing a helmet and a jacket walks in. He doesn’t waste any time. Approaching the woman from behind, he quickly grabs the gold chain around her neck and snatches it with force. The woman screams in shock and falls to the ground as the thief dashes out of the house with the chain in hand.
The entire act lasted only a few seconds, but it has left people shocked and concerned. Many are now questioning how bold and fearless such criminals have become, pulling off robberies even inside homes in broad daylight. This viral video has once again raised serious concerns about safety for the elderly, especially those living alone during the day.

The Jaipur video, shared on X (Formerly Twitter) by the username 'gharkekalesh', was captioned, "A snatcher stole a chain from an elderly woman, Jaipur, RJ." The post, after going viral, received many reactions. Most people found the incident scary, while many joked about it. One user wrote, "Chor ki himmatdekho, Ghar me ghuskrdadi k gale se kheechkarbhag k ja rhahai." "Police samaj aur sarkar ki taraf se me maafimaangta hu chorkhuleaamgharo me ghusrahe," a second user added.
"Koi sharam hi nahihai. He came inside the house like it was his own," a third user wrote. "I hate this. Why are these people hurting old people for money? Be aware, try elderly, don't go alone anywhere wearing gold," added a fourth user. "Why can't we adopt the Saudi Arabia hand-cutting rule? Kaabtak constitution aur judiciary ka rona rote rahenge aur common people suffer karega?" a fifth user wrote.

"Chain snatchers are cowardly criminals who prey on innocent people, showing no respect for anyone’s safety or dignity," another user added. "Elders aren’t even safe in broad daylight. What's happening to our society?" wrote another user. "I am observing this on Twitter that 90 pc of crime news is coming from Rajasthan," another person wrote.
