Viral Video: There are stunt-based reality shows, then there are straight-up deadly survival shows, and then there is ‘living’ in Australia. A dangerous reality show might still end after a while, but life in Australia is somewhat like surviving the wild, without any cameras and 24/7 ready-to-go medical facilities behind the cameras. Finding venomous snakes ‘chilling’ inside the house to protecting pets from a muscular kangaroo or a python- are all parts of an ‘everyday thing’ in the Island Nation, or so it seems on the internet. A video further proofing the same, was shared online, where an army of frogs 'hijacked’ a toilet seat in a house. Yes, you read that correctly.

In the video, a woman showed a closed toilet seat inside her residence. But as soon as she opened the lid, a seat full of green frogs left the internet speechless.

The video was shared on the social media platform Instagram, by the handle ‘Pubity’. The post was captioned, “Welcome to a toilet in Australia.”

The video went viral and left people divided. Some found the frogs adorable, while the rest called it ‘disgusting’. Many also questioned the cleanliness of the toilet itself and some pointed out that frogs may lead a poisonous snake towards the same spot. The video was shared a few hours ago and pulled 60K likes from people.

Taking to the comment box, people shared their take. “What happens if I press the flush?” a user asked. “Are those harmless or poisonous???” said a second person. “Not poisonous but you'd get really sick if you ate them straight out of the toilet,” said a third person. “Perhaps their only source of water. frogs have moist skin that gets damaged when dry, so probably look for moist areas like the sewer to keep their skin moist, as well as a place to avoid the heat of the day. also acts as a shelter from predators. (green tree frogs are a protected species in Australia),” a fourth said.

“Harmless... But they probably hiding from something venomous,” added another. “LMAO they’re tree frogs very common and harmless, frogs secrete poison but only some of them have poison that’s deadly to us,” added a sixth.

“First off......that's an incredibly nasty toilet even without frogs,” commented a seventh. “*on the phone with the plumber" Me: it's the toilet, there's a frog problem. Plumber: you mean a clog problem? Me: ... I mean there a lot of them so yeah probably,” added another.
