Colorado Viral Video: A video from a courtroom in Colorado has taken over social media, and it's equally funny and awkward. In the viral video, it can be seen that a live-streamed hearing was going on when lawyer Gail Johnson accidentally called the judge “honey” while defending a case, and the internet just can’t get over it. The incident happened during a discussion on People v. Delgado, a serious case about reviewing a prison sentence. While speaking to Judge Elizabeth L. Harris, Johnson suddenly slipped and said, “But, but honey.”

Realising it instantly, he looked shocked and said, “Oh my God, I’m sorry. I don’t even know what to say to that, I apologise.” Trying to get back on track, he added, “Um, the question here is what happened... I’m sorry, I’ve just been totally thrown.” Even the judge didn’t hold back and replied, “I’m a little thrown by that also, if I’m being honest.” The clip has now gone viral, with users saying he looked “genuinely embarrassed” and “genuinely apologetic.”

The viral video, shared on X (Formerly Twitter) by the handle '@macarthur_clark', was captioned, "MUST SEE: Male lawyer calls Colorado appeals court judge 'honey' during oral argument. Have you ever seen anything like this?" The video shared five days ago received 145k views from X users.

One user wrote, "I can tell from the way he said this, because it happens to me sometimes (not when I'm arguing in court), he said 'honey' as a reflex from arguing with his own wife, not 'honey' as in condescending to women generally." "He’s clearly used to being challenged by his wife/girlfriend with facts, and his brain defaulted into trying to win honey over when she’s taking none of his bulls**t," a second user added.

"Had older judges when I began practice call me honey. It was a different time. This guy didn’t do it on purpose, you could see, just used to speaking to his wife," a third user wrote. "Basically, half the time I’m arguing with a guy, I’ll mess up and call him by my little brother’s name because I was so used to arguing with him growing up," added another user.
