Delhi Lawyer Viral Video: A surprising clip from what appears to be a virtual hearing of the Delhi High Court has gone viral on social media. But this time, it’s not about a heated courtroom exchange or a lawyer being pulled up by the judge; it’s something entirely unexpected. The short video shows a lawyer, dressed formally in his court outfit, sitting in what appears to be his room before the hearing began. The session hadn’t started yet and everyone was waiting for the judge to join. That’s when the camera captured something personal and quite inappropriate.
In the viral video, a woman wearing a saree can be seen standing in front of the lawyer. He is partially turned away from the camera, with only the side of his face visible. Moments later, he’s seen pulling the woman’s hand and bringing her closer. Though she looks uncomfortable and tries to step back, the lawyer leans in and kisses her before she moves away.
The video shared yesterday on X garnered over 2 million views from social media users. However, the identities of both the lawyer and the woman remain unknown. It’s also not yet confirmed whether the clip is genuine. While the authenticity of the footage is still unclear, the viral moment has definitely sparked a wave of reactions across social media.

Court is online… but judge forgot it’s LIVE! ☠️
When tech meets tradition
— and the camera off button loses the case! 🤣 pic.twitter.com/1GbfOFQ6w7
Users were quick to react to the viral video. "India’s online courts stream hearings and accept digital filings, so a live camera slip is really open justice showing its seams. Virtual access widens reach and trims costs for litigants and lawyers. The upgrade comes with new etiquette, mute wisely, mind your background, guard privacy, because in a live court, the internet is the gallery," a user wrote.
"He is not a judge. He seems to he an Advocate. This is the Court of Justice Jyoti Singh, Delhi High Court, and the Court was not in session," a second user wrote. "The jealousy in these comments is loud. Yes, maybe it’s a little inappropriate, but it’s not against the law. Let the man have his moment of affection in this unforgiving world. Honestly, a little love wouldn't hurt any of us. Try it sometime," wrote a third user.
"This is an online court hearing in India under the Digital India initiatives. The judge appears to have forgotten the feed was live, leading to this awkward moment. Blending tradition with tech often yields such surprises, justice served with a side of human error," added a fourth user. "Plz verify before you say anything. This is not the judge but a lawyer indulging in such activities," another user wrote.
