Viral Video: Samosas are one of those snacks that never fail to make foodies happy, crispy outside, flavourful inside and always best enjoyed with chutney and fingers. But recently, a video from the UK has left the internet divided after a man decided to ditch the traditional way of eating a samosa and instead used a knife and fork. The viral clip, shared by a UK-based samosa specialist, features the text 'Samosa eating etiquette' and shows him carefully demonstrating what he calls the right way to eat the samosa.

He holds the samosa in place with a fork, slices it gently with a knife and takes tiny bites, all while dipping each piece into sauce like a fine-dining expert. His biggest tip? Don’t cut the samosa right in the middle, it’ll crumble, he warns.

While his technique might impress a few, most viewers couldn’t help but laugh. The video, which has already crossed over 496K views, sparked a hilarious debate online. Some people joked about turning street food into a royal meal, while others said eating a samosa with cutlery was the most ridiculous thing ever.

"Can we just stop teaching ourselves British table etiquette and try eating indian food, especially the way it is supposed to be eaten. In which era are these guys living? Still validating themselves by acting like West? This robotic systematic era is long gone and forgotten," a user wrote. "I prefer eating my food instead of playing with it and doing long rituals and dressing like a king before eating, etc," a second user wrote.

"What else is left now in life to achieve. Samosa etiquette goes and ask to do this to anyone from the north region, they will slap you in the face," added a fourth user. "Stupid bugger! Just pick it up with your fingers, dip it in the sauce and eat! Enjoy! No need to westernise an Indian item," added another user.
