Leo Movie Day: The much-anticipated and awaited film Leo, starring Thalapathy Vijay, has hit the theatres and the internet is ready to break down. The Lokesh Kanagaraj-director Leo, was one of the most awaited movies after Rajinikanth's Jailer, so the fans, understandably, were all in when it came to welcoming Leo on the big screens. Amid that, October 19 came, and the fandom rushed to the cinema halls for the morning shows to watch the actor’s action-packed performance. But what came after the first screening, was something that no one saw coming. A mixed reaction to the film soon took over the cinemas and the internet. While some fans loved the movie and heaped it with praise, another side of the audience did not hold back while criticising the movie, especially while comparing it with 'Jailer'. 

Vijay’s latest film ‘Leo’ hit the big screens today, October 19, and instantly took over social media with its reviews. The Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed movie is a star-studded film, which also has other leading names like Trisha Krishnan and Sanjay Dutt. The action thriller film has been produced by SS Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy. 

Taking to the internet, people shared their views. Many compared it with other leading names in the South Indian film industry, while others wished him luck for the next movie as this instalment did not mark the peak, in fact, it did not even cross the line for many.
