Viral Video: In what was supposed to be a casual gaming time on a regular day, a 12-year-old kid ended up making headlines for his brilliant ‘presence of mind’ instead. The said kid, Mohit Ahire from Maharashtra, was busy playing games on his phone, when a leopard entered the same tiny room out of nowhere. The big cat, lucky for the boy, walked past the kid without noticing him, giving him a chance to act on it. What the kid did next, made him an internet sensation. The kid quietly stood up, and locked the door behind him, trapping the furry intruder inside. The otherwise horrifying incident reportedly took place in Malegaon on March 05, where the kid was at a wedding hall at the time.
As soon as the young boy cleverly escaped a possible accident, he informed his father of the trapped leopard in the room. As per the report, the Forest Department was called promptly, which rescued the 5-year-old big cat after tranquilising it.
The video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘Anshul Saxena’. The post was captioned, “What an amazing presence of mind. Mohit immediately informed his father, who is a security guard, that he trapped a leopard inside the office.”
