Gujarat Junagadh Viral Video: Not every wild animal sighting ends in fear; sometimes, it ends in pure comedy. A recent video from Gujarat’s Junagadh has gone viral for capturing an unexpected and hilarious encounter between a man and a lion. The CCTV clip, shared by retired IFS officer Susanta Nanda, shows a worker casually stepping out of a cement factory. At the same time, from another side of the premises, a lion is seen strolling in. Their paths are separated by a small guardroom, keeping them out of each other’s sight, until they both turn the corner.

What happens next could rival any comedy skit. The moment they spot each other, both the man and the lion freeze for a split second before panicking and bolting in opposite directions. Nanda summed it up perfectly in his caption: “A Worker of the cement factory at Junagarh & a free-roaming lion accidentally meet each other. Both panic. You have just witnessed the rare reverse chase.”

The clip has since spread like wildfire across social media, with viewers amused by the rare sight of a lion backing away from a human just as fast as the human ran from the lion. "If you are used to regular dogs' bark patterns at night, you would know when a thief has come, when a leopard and from what direction," a user wrote. "Technically, it’s because the man was ready, making menacing noise to deter the carnivore," a second user added.

"We give them more reasons to be afraid of us; no wonder she ran away," a third user wrote. "Deserve a bravery award for scaring a lioness," added a fourth user. "That man has a strong horoscope," a fifth user added. "When predator and prey can't decide who's who," another user added jokingly.
