Viral Video: Judging by the way people often react in zoos and safaris, taking a ‘logical reasoning’ test before letting them in, is not exactly a bad idea. Social media has time and again witnessed countless incidents, where visitors ended up ‘finding out’ after ‘messing around’ by doing some of the most questionable things. Adding a new name to the list, a man reportedly in Jamaica, went viral for doing something similar.

The man in question, who was reported to be a zookeeper (so not even a visitor), was trying to ‘play around’ with a lion in captivity, as seen in a shared video. But the ‘show off’ turned into a lesson after the lion suddenly bit his finger and seemingly refused to let go.

The shared video went viral and left people reacting. The incident reportedly took place a while ago, but the video went viral again after it resurfaced.
The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘CCTV IDIOTS’. The post was captioned, “Dude taunts a lion and finds out.” The video was shared yesterday and pulled 347K views from people.

Most people blamed the man for what happened, while some chastised the zookeeper for choosing to treat a lion like a pet animal.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “What did he think was going to happen?” a user said. “Whatever happens to him is deserved lmao,” added a second person. “Adding this to the list of things I did not need to see today,” wrote a third user. “Well… he took away a souvenir of his day at the zoo. The lion has his souvenir too,” commented a fourth person.

“What do you get when crossing a parrot and a lion? I don't know, but if it wants a cracker you better give it one,” added another. “Serves him right? But I marvel at the people just taking videos and no one even tries to help him. Social media popularity is more important than someone losing a hand I guess,” pointed out another.
