With the evolution of digitisation, shopping has become one of the easiest tasks with hundreds of e-commerce websites entering the online shopping market. From clothes to furniture to food, everything is available on the internet. However, not always does the experience leaves a good taste. A man recently ordered some peeled pomegranates from Swiggy Instamart, however, his online food shopping experience turned into something else.

Sharing the experience with the netizens, the man claimed that the pomegranates tasted like 'nail polish'. Social media influencer Samdish Bhatia took to his Instagram handle and posted a picture of his order.

"Ordered this packet of pomegranate (anaar) today from Swiggy Instamart. I don't say it lightly. As soon as I took a spoonful and put it in my mouth, I could smell and taste something familiar. It was... wait for it... N..a..il polish. Yes, God Swear. No crosses," Bhatia wrote.

In the shared post, the company of the fruit was also visible, which was Urban Harvest. The post quickly grabbed the attention of the netizens who flooded the comment box with their thoughts. Some netizens even took shots at the company and recalled their own incidents that were similar to this one.

"It's because of yeasts breaking down sugars from the fruit. It smells like a nail paint probably because it wasn't freshly seeded," a user commented. "That kind of shit happens with online deliveries. preservatives, adulterated fruits, packaged food which is sitting for long time... this is everywhere. purchase fresh as much as you can," commented another.

"I can't believe this.. in other parts of the world urban harvest would be sued or fined at the least and at the max dukaan hi band kar do," added a third netizen. "Sabse bekar hai Urban Harvest ke fruits.. I ordered Papaya , mila badbudar sada hua papaya (Urban Harvest have the worst fruits. I once ordered papaya, and it was rotten and smelly)," joined a fourth.
