China Car Bonnet Aquarium Viral Video: In one of the most bizarre car modifications ever seen online, a man in China transformed the front part of his SUV into a working fish tank, complete with live fish swimming inside. The strange setup caught everyone's attention after a video of it went viral on social media. The video, filmed in Liaoning province, shows a Li Auto L9 SUV parked on the street. The car’s bonnet was sealed with clear plastic, filled with water, and live fish could be seen swimming beneath it. The plastic wrap was pulled tightly across the hood and even covered the LED lights. Although the fish tank looked neat at first, water was seen slowly leaking, raising safety and animal welfare concerns.
Not A Prank Or AI, It Really Happened:
Many people online at first thought the video was fake or AI-generated. But it turned out to be 100% real. The man behind the idea, Mr. Liu, later spoke to the media and explained why he did it.
A Last-Minute Idea After Fishing:
Mr. Liu said the idea came to him after he went fishing and forgot to bring a bucket. “It was just a one-time idea,” he said. He decided to use the space under his car’s hood to keep the fish and thought it would be fun to record a video. He also added that his car already had a colour-changing film and some unused space in front. Liu made it clear that he never drove the car with fish inside and warned others not to copy the idea because it is not safe.
Internet Reacts With Anger:
Although a lot of people watched the video, most of the comments were negative. Many were offended and called it a cruel act. They argued that it is cruel and unethical to use live animals for entertainment or attention, even if it is just for a video.
Copycat Video In Uzbekistan Sparks More Outrage
Soon after Liu’s video went viral, a car detailing center in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, copied the idea. They too placed live fish inside a car bonnet and sealed it with plastic. This only added fuel to the fire, and people on social media called for strict action against such stunts.
Using Animals For Views Isn't Entertainment:
What started out as a single idea quickly became global. Some people believed that using live animals as props was a creative act, but most people agreed that it shouldn't be done. Liu's video not only went viral but also sparked an important conversation about kindness, safety, and appropriate behaviour for social media fame.
