LinkedIn Viral Post: What started as a simple late-night craving turned into a powerful life lesson for a man in Delhi. Ishan Bhatt recently shared his experience on LinkedIn, and his story is now touching hearts online. Ishan had ordered three ice creams from Zomato, thinking it was just another usual night. But 15 minutes later, he received a call from the delivery partner asking, “Sir, aap neeche aa sakte ho?” Wrapped cozily in his blanket, Ishan casually replied, “Kyun bhai? Aap aa jaao na upar.” But what the delivery man said next completely changed the moment. He softly replied, “Sir, main handicapped hoon.”
Ishan described the feeling that followed: “Sudden silence. Guilt came in faster than the delivery.” He quickly jumped out of bed, tossed aside his blanket “like the main character in a movie,” and rushed downstairs, deeply moved and humbled. The experience made him reflect on how we often complain about small issues like cold food, late deliveries, or poor packaging, forgetting the hard work behind the scenes. He wrote, “And honestly, that moment just stayed with me. We keep cribbing about late deliveries, melted food, and ‘packaging achhi nahi di’ - but in the background, companies like Zomato are giving real opportunities to people who actually need them.”
He ended the post with a thoughtful reminder that hit home for many: “So, Next time your delivery partner calls, maybe don’t be wrapped in your blanket like some paneer roll.”He concluded the post with, "And yes, the ice cream was worth it.”

The post, after being shared a few hours ago, received many comments from LinkedIn users, sharing a similar experience. One user wrote, "I actually had a really similar experience just a few days ago. It was honestly humbling. At first, I was a bit frustrated, wondering why the person couldn’t come up, and then he explained that he had a problem with his left leg and was partially handicapped. I felt so bad and, honestly, a little ashamed of myself for not realizing it. I apologized, and he was so kind about it. Then he asked if I could give him a 5-star rating, and I was like, “Yes, of course!” It ended up being such a meaningful moment."

"From paneer roll to superhero sprint! Love this heartwarming moment and Zomato’s efforts. May they keep surprising us (and delivering smiles)! Also, now craving paneer rolls and ice cream. Thanks for that!" a second user added. "If you could have shared the delivery person's details, we could have contributed to his better living, too," a third user added. "But still in my opinion, handicapped people should be on customer support, not on the road rushing for deliveries on time, it's more dangerous for them," added a fourth user.
