Viral Video: Lions, tigers, cheetahs, and other majestic big cats, of course, belong to the adorable feline family, but are NOT anything like the cute house cats when it comes to their behaviour. It sure sounds like an obvious fact that almost everyone agrees with, however, some people simply choose to ignore it for whatever reason. Seemingly belonging to the same category of people, a man ended up learning the same fact in one of the most painful ways. A video was shared online, where the said man was seen trying to pet a cheetah. However, the cheetah being the sharp predator that they are, attacked the man with its paw.
The man immediately backed away to safety and began to laugh. The video, on the other hand, did not sit well with netizens who believed that the man faced ‘befitting consequences’, while some dubbed it ‘animal cruelty’ for a cheetah to be treated as a pet.
The video was shared on social media platform Instagram, by the handle ‘Nouman Hassan’. The post was captioned, “Cheetah Attack.” The post was shared three days ago and pulled 708K likes from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “Cheetah's slap was so strong that the Guy's feathers came off,” a user said. “He better be lucky he ain't bite him after that,” added a second person. “Smiling but crying deep inside, walking away was the best option,” wrote a third person. “So cruel for this beautiful animal it should be in its natural environment just do cruel,” added a fourth person.
“They don’t let anyone touch them other than their owner, that's how they show respect to their owner, and show how loyal they are towards them,” added a fifth person. “Why are they allowed to keep these animals locked up...they deserve to be attacked,” added a sixth person. “Poor cat & they clipped her nails! If not would slide his neck open,” added another.
