Hurricane Milton Viral Video: Turning into a deadly storm that even reached the category 5 mark multiple times, the life-threatening hurricane Milton left people scarred for their safety and lives in the US. Not to forget about the massive property damage that the storm caused, which has left people, especially in Florida, further concerned. Amid all the warnings and evacuation orders, many expressed concerns for the safety of stray animals and homeless people. Among such a lot, there were a few brave ones who decided to take action on the same concern. A video was shared on social media, where a man was seen rescuing a scared cat that was hiding under a car amid hurricane Milton.

As per the post, the man who was with two others, was informed about the cat by a passerby. In another update, the man clarified that the cat, Millie, will move with him to DC if its owners- if there are any- fail to claim the furry one. For those unaware, hurricane Milton was reportedly declared one of the strongest storms to hit Tampa Bay in the last 100 years. As per reports, it made landfall as a ‘Category 3 storm’ at the night of October 09 in Florida. However, it was reportedly reduced to a Category 1 storm after ‘cutting through the state’ and ‘moving offshore’. As per BBC, 16 people reportedly died in Florida, after the hurricane passed through the state.

The video was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘ChristopherS_DC’. The post was captioned, “We’re a three-man crew now. My coworker, David, rescued a cat who took shelter under our car from Hurricane Milton. I’m glad someone walking by told us they heard meowing.”

“#Hurricanecat update: Millie is an adult female cat we found up near FGCU near Ft. Myers FL. I dropped her off at the Blue Pearl Pet Hospital where they confirmed she does not have a microchip. Docs say she does not seem to be feral and is well mannered meaning she may have slipped away from her home. She’ll go to Lee County once the storm subsides and if she’s not claimed the adoption process will start and she’ll be moving to D.C. with me. I miss her already,” the post was later updated. The video was shared yesterday and pulled more than 7 million views from people.
