Viral Video: Shubham Parmar, a 24-year-old from Delhi, works a full-time job in the hospitality industry in Gurgaon. Despite his long daily commute, he drives part-time for Rapido after office hours to earn extra income. Shubham shared, in 2016, after finishing his 10th class, his grandfather gifted him a phone. That small gift sparked a big interest; he started a YouTube channel and gained around 9,000 subscribers.

Faced Taunts, But Never Gave Up:

Back then, not everyone supported his dream. “Youtuber banega?” and “Hero aa gaya, videos banatahai” were common taunts from his friends. Hurt by the mockery, Shubham stopped making videos, but he never let go of his dream completely. One day, Shubham saw a video by a YouTuber from Gurgaon, and that lit the spark again. He got the idea of working for Rapido from YouTube itself and started building a side income to support his goals.

“I always wanted to be different,” says Shubham. While his family has served the nation, and he once wanted to become an officer, poor choices in his teenage years led him on a different path. Still, he chose to work hard and turn things around.

Monthly Earnings That Might Surprise You:

Shubham earns around Rs 3.6 lakh per year from his main job, less than Rs 30,000 a month. To increase his income, he drives for Rapido after work, making an extra Rs 10,000 to Rs 22,000 monthly, depending on how much time he puts in.

Learning to Ignore the Mockery

Even now, people mock him by calling him “Rapido wale bhaiya,” but Shubham doesn’t let it affect him anymore. “I’ve realized that people will always talk. I can’t let that stop me from reaching my goals,” he says. Despite all challenges, Shubham continues to juggle his job, Rapido rides, and content creation. His journey is proof that with focus and determination, it’s possible to build a better future, step by step. Shubham most often shares his videos on his Instagram account 'shubham.parmarvlogs'. He has 4k followers and 40 posts till now on his profile.
