MotoGP Bharat 2023: India is all set to script history in the field of motorcycle racing, and the fans are all in to witness the big event. With India hosting its first-ever MotoGP racing event, the fans of the sports flooded social media with their excitement over seeing the racers ride their wheels on the Indian ground for the first time. The event, which has been named MotoGP Bharat Grand Prix, began today, September 22, and will culminate on Sunday, September 24. The 3-day racing event has already raised a wave of joy among people who are flocking to Greater Noida’s Buddh International Circuit in Uttar Pradesh to watch the event unfold. Although the main racing event will be held on September 24, the audience has already started taking seats around the tracks to watch the practice races, which began today. The qualification races will be held tomorrow, September 23. 

The ticket prices for the event will reportedly start from Rs 800 and will reach up to Rs 1,80,000. From Aleix Espargaro to Francesco Bagnaia, the event will witness several big names from the field. 

Taking to the internet, people expressed their excitement for the big race and shared posts and reactions on the same. Most people also shared videos of today's practice session amid their eager wait for the main event, which is scheduled for Sunday.

“The riders are finding braking for turn 1 quite tricky in the FP1 session. Most riders have gone on to the gravel at the end of the turn including the championship leaders. #MotoGP #IndianGP,” a user said. 

“The streets are empty, cuz everyone's at the #IndianGP!  MotoGP Bharat upon us starting todayyy!” said a another. 

“Me when i listen indian music (try to dance it) #IndianGP,” added a third person. 

“Moto GP TRAIL START TODAY AT F1 RACE TRACK BIC GREATER NOIDA YAMUNA EXPRESSWAY,” commented a fourth. 

“Jaume Masia becomes the first rider to top a session at the Buddh International Circuit,” added a fifth.
