The new meme that is effortlessly ruling the Indian internet community these days is the famous ‘Bhupendra Jogi’ meme, which was created purely out of Jogi’s confusion and left social media laughing. Although the video was back from 2018, it recently resurfaced on the internet and took over every netizen as they began to make related videos out of the meme. Many were quick to join the trend, but the recent entry was not only unexpected but also equally hilarious. Joining the bandwagon, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan recreated it with Jogi, only the context, this time, was not about the US visit but was instead about state government schemes. As soon as the video was shared on social media, people were quick to react, making it go viral. 

The video was shared on the official Instagram account of the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister. The post was captioned in Hindi, which roughly translated to, “What’s in the name, one’s work should speak.”

The video went viral as people, especially BJP and CM Chouhan’s followers, loved the video. Netizens were quick to comment on the aptly recreated meme between the two and found it hilarious. Many also called it the result of memes and social media, while others flooded the comment box with ‘mama ji with Jogi’ comments. The video was shared yesterday and received 303K views from people.

Taking to the comment box, people shared their take. “Winner of the trend mamaji,” a user said. “Iska bhi comeback ho gya (he also made a comeback),” said another user. “Power Of Social Media,” said another. “Power of memes and memers,” commented a fourth netizen. “Koi Rahul baba se bhi naam puch lo ek baar (Some ask Rahul Gandhi’s name as well),” added another. “Next foreign minister is bhpendra jogi,” joined a sixth person. “Bhupendra jogi with mama,” added a seventh person. “This is the power of social media guys,” said another. “This was completely unexpected, but surely fun to watch,” said a next.

Although the original ‘Bhupendra Jogi’ video is from 2018, it has resurfaced back to virality. The iconic moment took place when Jogi was being asked about the places he visited in the US to compare road structures from MP during the 2018 elections. The interview was being taken by the Lallantop team.
