Mumbai-Hyderabad Bus Driver Watches Bigg Boss While Driving, Gets Fired After Video Goes Viral

Bus Driver Viral Video: A shocking video from a late-night bus ride from Mumbai to Hyderabad has sparked outrage online. The video, which shows a driver idly watching Bigg Boss on his phone while driving at nearly 80 km/h, shocks viewers with the threat to the passengers' safety. The video was uploaded by content creator Nagesh Mane, who captioned it, "One of the reasons for accidents." He claimed to have personally captured the footage on October 27 and noticed that the driver seemed more focused on the show than the road.

Once shared, the video quickly went viral, drawing strong reactions from social media users. After the video gained traction, Vijayanand Travels stepped in and issued a public apology. The company said, “Passenger safety is our top priority, and we take such matters with the utmost seriousness.” They also confirmed that the driver was immediately removed from duty following an internal investigation, adding, “The concerned driver has been relieved from duty with immediate effect due to his negligent behaviour.”

While many condemned the driver’s reckless behaviour, some claimed such practices are common during long trips. "One of the reasons for the accident is. You didn't stop him or warn him, but recorded the video. Wow," a user wrote. "Bro, he is not watching, he is listening to a movie, bro, not to be distracted by sleep. Do you know how driving at night feels? dont blame them," a second user wrote.

"This is a public danger. Someone who follows all safety rules on the road will be in danger thanks to such irresponsible drivers of yours," a second user wrote. "This is not acceptable. Stop making videos for social media and act against this driver," added a third user. "This is not something that you should be complaining about to the bus operator; this should be taken to the consumer court," wrote a fourth user.

But not everyone took it lightly. A user shared a personal story, revealing that their father had suffered a serious spinal injury last year in an accident involving the same travel company, allegedly due to rash driving.
