Mumbai Man Viral Video: Rising pollution levels across Indian cities are once again setting off alarm bells, with air quality becoming a daily concern for many people. While Delhi-NCR continues to choke with AQI levels crossing the dangerous 400 mark, cities like Mumbai are also struggling, and residents are openly expressing their worries online. Adding to the growing discussion, a video from Mumbai has caught everyone’s attention for its simple yet powerful message. A man from Juhu Beach decided to demonstrate just how polluted the air around him was, and the results left people stunned.
In the viral video, he first shows an air quality monitor placed at Juhu Beach. The screen displays an AQI reading hovering between 191 and 192, which he describes as "almost 200." To test something interesting, he then places an N95 mask over the air inlet of the device. Within seconds, the AQI reading starts dropping sharply and finally settles at 37.
To complete the experiment, the man removes the mask from the back of the monitor. Almost instantly, the AQI shoots back up, touching 201 again. The quick change clearly highlights how much difference a mask can make when it comes to filtering polluted air.

"Working 8–9 hours a day and then going home to about 3-4 hours to yourself, which includes getting ready for the next day, is not living, to be very honest," added a fourth user. "Last week, I started wearing a mask because I am finding it very difficult to breathe. Having an allergic cough every other day, so masking was the only way out. And it's been better since last week. I am from Mumbai," a fifth user added.
