The rainy season in Mumbai is rather a nightmare for the Mumbaikars than a respite from the scorching heat, given the immense inconvenience the city people witness even after a slight downpour. Besides waterlogging, traffic snarls are the worst kind of situation one wants to be stuck in. Mumbaikars daily witness hours-long traffic jams that sometimes even lead to road rage.

Now, an AI artist, apparently frustrated with the traffic menace in Mumbai, has imagined the city with futuristic vehicles and used Artificial Intelligence to bring his imagination to the canvas. AI artist Manoj Omre took to his Instagram handle and shared a post with futuristic vehicles that would ease the commuting part for the Mumbaikers amid heavy rain and water-logging in almost every part of the city.

His creation with the help of AI, looked extremely real and somewhat gave an idea about how it can actually work in the future if it becomes a reality due to the necessity. With “Things that should have been built by now for Mumbai” written on the opening image of the post, Omre had a witty caption saying, “Kyunki acchi roads aur drainage system toh paagal banate hai.” (Good roads and drainage systems only made by mad people)

From a scooter with a bubble around it, to an auto with full coverage, Omre imagined all kinds of vehicles that may fall into this category. He even created an image of a lifeboat-like vehicle that can carry several people at a time. His representation of submerged streets and waterlogged roads further gave the final touch to the creation, which ultimately gave the whole idea a purpose.

The post of course had a huge engagement where netizens liked the idea and in return, had some witty responses. “BMC might buy few of those too quoting no point building roads and waste taxpayers money,” a user named 'roshan.ambivert' wrote. Meanwhile, another user named 'okaylaiba' pointed out the work situation in such a scenario and wrote, “No man, then the companies will expect us to work during this situation too!”
