National Awards 2023: From getting trolled and severely hated by the fans after his wife’s ‘wipe that off’ interview, people unleashed all kinds of reactions at ace actor Ranbir Kapoor for being a ‘misogynist’. However, with everyone’s favourite and the cinema Industry’s one of best talents, Alia Bhatt, getting the hard-earn award that she deserved, the netizens were quick to observe Ranbir’s behaviour at the ceremony of the National Film Awards 2023 as Bhatt clinched the Best Actress award for her remarkable performance in the hit film Gangubai Kathiawadi. With everyone’s attention on the Bhatt and Kapoor duo, right after the recent controversies following Alia’s multiple interviews, netizens started giving their reactions to the supporting gestures that Ranbir displayed at the ceremony. From giving her the centre stage during interviews to the victory signs that the actor showed from the beginning, people praised every possible supporting gesture and titled the duo the ‘power couple’ of B-Town. 

The Best Actress award was shared between Alia and the talented  Kriti Sanon for her film Mimi, while the award for Best Actor was bagged by Allu Arjun for Pushpa: The Rise. With this win, the actor also became the first Telugu actor to receive the Best Actor award. This is the 69th National Film Awards that is being held in Delhi’s Vigyan Bhavan. The awards were conferred by President Droupadi Murmu. 

Taking to social media, people were quick to shower praise at Ranbir Kapoor as he attended the award ceremony and was seen supporting Alia for the big win. Most people pointed out his gesture to let Alia take centre stage during an interview, while others simply celebrated the couple and the win. Fans also hailed Alia for her grace and beauty as she arrived at the ceremony looking breathtaking as ever.
