New Bride In Ghunghat Viral Video: Imagine this-a new bride sitting in the middle of her own party, guitar in hand, ready to blow everyone away with her voice. She starts strumming the sweet notes of ‘Ek Din Aap’ and sings so beautifully that the whole room goes quiet, except for one thing that stole the entire show. Her super-long ghunghat. Yes, you read that right. In the viral video, the heavy veil keeps falling over the bride's face while she tries to play. Every time she gently lifts it to see the guitar strings, an aunty from the crowd rushes forward and pulls it back down again and again like the bride’s talent matters less than 'tradition.'

The internet exploded. People couldn’t stop talking about how a girl’s amazing singing was being hidden just to keep a ghunghat in place. Comments poured in like, 'When her ‘Ghunghat’ becomes more important than her talent – only in India!' Thousands got angry, thousands felt sad, and everyone agreed this is exactly why we still need to fight for women here.
