One of the worst things a company can do to hamper its own goodwill is sell faulty products. The same issue manifolds if the company in question is a food-related brand, as a food outlet’s ‘faulty product’ turns into more of a health hazard that can risk a customer’s life. Experiencing the same ‘faulty product’ service firsthand, a customer took it to social media to highlight a major health risk he was about to face if he had eaten his burger ordered from fast-food giant Burger King. Sharing pictures of his meal, the customer mocked the company over finding mould in his burger. Calling it a ‘new flavour’, the man did not shy away from taking a hard dig at the food giant.

As per the man’s post, the burger was ordered online from Zomato. The post went viral in an instant and drew a reaction from netizens. Most chastised the outlet and demanded action, while the rest suggested leaving fast food altogether. As the post went viral, Burger King’s X handle also responded to the matter.

The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘YamanDev’. The post was captioned, “Ordered from Burger King via Zomato. After finishing the fries, opened the burger (Veg Whooper), and today I came to know that they have launched a new flavor. Where the mold is coming free with the burger bread. @zomato @burgerkingindia.” The post was shared yesterday and pulled more than 6K views from people.

“This shows how much you people care about your customers' health. Brother, you can clearly say that we will not order from here next time,” the internet user further wrote.

“We do not intend to provide such an experience. Looking forward to your details. Please share your contact number, store location, order ID, and email ID via DM/inbox so that we can pursue it with the concerned team. Rest assured we will investigate it thoroughly,” read the response by Burger King.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “This is nasty ugh so terrible!” a user said. “I also have the same experience with @zomato that' 's why I uninstalled their app and their service is pathetic. After all the inconvenience they offer me ₹10 coupon to settle the matter. #boycottzomato,” added a second user. “Shame on you burger King for playing with the health of others,” added another.
