Gone are the days when ‘Work From Home’ was something that sounded alien to employees. In fact, in today’s world, WFH has turned into a household term. After all, who wouldn't like to work from the comfort of their home or any other place that is NOT their office. Flexible hours, the benefit of not worrying about rigid ‘punch out’ timings, working from the comfort of one’s bed or one’s favourite cafe- all in all- WFH has surely turned out to be a true blessing for the working population. However, believe it or not, despite all the benefits, there is a larger population that thinks otherwise, and this internet user seems to be one of such people.

Taking to social media, the said man shared about the benefits of WFH, but also pointed out it as a ‘blessing’ only for people living alone or with their partners. On people living with parents and doing WFH, the man had a different take altogether. As per the man, things rather looked like the hit Korean show Squid Game, when it came to working from home with parents.

The post on WFH, after getting shared, went viral and pulled countless reactions. Most people agree with the X user and pointed out the additional work some people are compelled to do while at home, while the rest called the same a blessing.

The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter), by the handle ‘kadaipaneeeer’. The post was captioned, “WFH is a dream when you’ve got your own cozy little apartment in a city like Bangalore, Mumbai, or even Delhi, especially with your partner by your side. But WFH while living with your parents? That’s a whole new level of Squid Game.” The post was shared two days ago and pulled 226K views from people.

Taking to the comment section, people shared their take. “The main benefit of WFH is not being forced to live in cities like Bengalore, Mumbai or Delhi,” a user said. “I live with my partner's daughter and parents and do WFH when desired :),” added a second person. “Bg music will be like- jara ek glass pani dena beta, fan off krdo, ek cup chai bana de,” added a third person.

“Kind of blessing tbh, your parents are already in their early or mid 60's when you land a job so it's a bonus that you get to spend time with them as they don't have much time left,” commented a fourth user. “WFH is only applicable if you are allowed to work from a place which you call your home/hometown. Most of the companies give work from base which is disguised as WFH for all those who are nonlocal,” added another.
