Noida Man Viral Video: Buying a dream home in a modern high-rise is supposed to bring happiness but for one Noida resident, it turned into a shocking reality check. A viral video has taken the internet by storm after a man claimed he could hammer a wooden pencil into the wall of his Rs 1.5 crore apartment. The clip has left social media users stunned, once again sparking questions about the construction quality of luxury flats in Noida.
The video, shared on Instagram by the user ‘kabeer.unfiltered’, shows the man standing inside his flat, pointing at several small holes on the wall. “This hole in the wall was made using a pencil. I placed the pencil against the wall, hit it with a hammer and it went right in,” he says in disbelief. He adds, “It’s a wooden pencil with graphite, which we used in school. That’s how the house has been built, so weak that you don’t even need a drill.”
In the clip, the man further explains how he first tried using a drill, but later discovered that even a simple pencil could pierce through the wall with ease. Many users said it raises serious safety doubts for residents living in such buildings.

The post, titled “1.5 crore k apartment ka sach. Guess which Noida society is this?”, quickly went viral, gathering over 1.3 million views and hundreds of reactions. While opinions remain divided, the video has once again reignited the conversation about the quality and safety of expensive societies.
"Those are non-structural AAC walls. They aren’t weak; they’re lightweight, eco-friendly, fire-resistant, and insulate heat and sound well. That’s why ideal for high-rise apartments. Since they’re non-load-bearing, they reduce a building’s weight, making it safer and more stable during earthquakes. We are used to purane zamane ke eent pathar ke ghar, so this comes as a shock but you’re only destroying your own home," a user explained.
