Lil Tay Viral News: Money, fame and controversy, Lil Tay seems to have it all at just 18. The internet star recently revealed that she made a staggering $15 million in just two weeks on OnlyFans and she isn’t holding back when it comes to defending her choices. In an interview with Page Six, Tay addressed the backlash around her earlier comments where she had called women working 9-to-5 jobs “failures.” Clearing the air, she said her words were meant to “motivate” women to aim higher. “I get to make more money than most people ever f**king touch in their life,” she said, adding that women should feel free to “do whatever the hell they want to do” with their lives and bodies.
How Did Tay's Childhood Struggles Fuel Her Success?
Tay also opened up about her difficult past, sharing that she grew up “broke.” She credits those struggles for pushing her to earn big today. “That’s exactly why I had to get my money up. And that’s exactly why I can flex on you now and motivate you to get your money up,” she said. While she has praised her mother for always supporting her, Tay has accused her father’s side of the family of mistreating her, even recalling times when she was given “rotten food” for lunch. Her father, Christopher Hope, however, has denied those claims.

Why Is Tay Ending Her Earnings Announcements?
Because of her childhood, Tay admits that money means everything to her. “People say that money doesn’t buy happiness, but it does,” she insisted. Still, life with millions hasn’t been all smooth. Tay revealed that her massive earnings announcement will be her last for safety reasons. “A couple of days ago, there was somebody in my bushes trying to take photos of me… There are people trying to get into my backyard,” she shared, adding that strangers even followed her to the beach.

Why Did She Hire Security?
To protect herself, she has hired security and started boxing lessons. And when it comes to her fortune, she made one thing clear: “I’m in control. I could do whatever I want with my money. I’m looking at a couple of Bugattis.” From struggling childhood to million-dollar paychecks, Lil Tay’s story is as dramatic as it gets and she’s clearly not done making headlines yet.
