Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 Viral Video: Amitabh Bachchan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 recently featured a young contestant whose confidence left viewers divided. The special kids’ edition usually warms hearts with adorable participants, but fifth grader Ishit Bhatt from Gandhinagar, Gujarat, made headlines for his bold and slightly cheeky behaviour. As soon as Amitabh Bachchan began explaining the rules, Ishit interrupted, saying, “Mere ko rules pata hai isliye aap mere ko abhi rules samjhane mat baithna.” Throughout the game, he insisted on locking his answers without even hearing all the options, showing a level of confidence that surprised everyone.
Things got more entertaining during a question on the Ramayana. Ishit quickly asked, “Arre option daalo (Give me the options),” and later, when he was locking his final answer, he exclaimed, “Sir ek kya uss mein chaar lock lagado, lekin lock karo (Sir, put not just one but four locks on it, but lock it).” Unfortunately, his answer was wrong, and he left without winning any prize money. Amitabh Bachchan calmly told him, “Kabhi kabhi bachhe overconfidence mein galti kar dete hai,” showing understanding despite the child’s brash attitude.

Not saying this about the kid, but the parents. If you can't teach your kids humility, patience, and manners, they turn out to be such rude overconfident lot. Not winning a single rupee will surely pinch them for a long time.

The clip has gone viral online, sparking mixed reactions. While some viewers criticised Ishit’s tone and overconfidence, others defended him, saying it’s natural for kids to get nervous or act a little boastful on a big stage. The video shared on X (Formerly Twitter) by the handle '@theskindoctor13' yesterday and pulled an impressive two million views from users.
"Why is everything blamed on parents? Why not teachers? I agree parents should teach their kids about manners and humility, but doesn’t school have any role in it?" a user wrote. "We don’t know whether it is natural or just a staged thing for TRP. I always have my doubts about KBC. I feel it is partially scripted. There was a time when the phone of a friend used to show shock while talking to AB. In reality, they are told beforehand to be ready," a second user wrote.
"He must be the most irritating kid Amitabh Bachchan has ever had to deal with in his whole life, though Jaya Bachchan still holds the top spot," wrote a third user. "This video is a good lesson for today's parents. This is not the child's fault at all. This impatience and unrestrained aggression have been imparted to them by our competitive society and the progressive yet misguided lifestyle of ambitious parents," added a fourth user.
